Deep Purple 'Smoke On The Water' @ Notoddent-2024 (edited version due to complains)

Great to see Deep Purple live at Notodden Bluesfestival, especially when their signature tune number one "Smoke On The Water" came on. The audience loved it and gave the band a tremendously good feedback, which Ian Gillian appreciated. It became a magic moments for us all, Enjoy! :)

Специально послушал для сравнения три варианта концертного исполнения. Самый мощный с Лордом и Морсом. Просто бомба. Этот простенький, как по клавишам, так и по гитаре не лучший вариант. Да и по драйву Морс и Лорд просто жгли.

Is it me or is Roger playing a whole lot of lines nowadays compared to the Blackmore days?
He has always been a very fine rock-bass player. For example listen to "No No No" on the Fireball album, or the 1970 video of Child in Time , particularly search youtube for "Stage Presence coach reacts to DEEP PURPLE "Child In Time" " (the sound on this particular clip is a lot better than some others on youtube). But I do know what you mean. I think that in recent years, perhaps even since Jon Lord's sad departure, Roger seems to be a bit further forward in the mix.
Deep Purple MK3 is by far THE BEST lineup!
